The symbolism of the Ravens is complex. As a talking bird, the raven also represents prophecy and insight. Ravens in stories often act as psychopomps, connecting the material world with the world of spirits.
In 2015, my Swedish great grandmother Ruth made her presence known to me as both an ancestor and a guide (she passed when I was just four years old). The consequences catapulted me into completely reorganising my work and offerings as a seeress. I had often seen family members who had passed around clients but did not have a structure in place in which to offer this information to my clients. Most importantly, I hadn’t asked the question how this is the helpful to the client?
Through my relationship with my own great grandmother, I started to understand the importance of ancestral healing but most importantly the fundamental necessity of choice for me as the descendant. The choice to free myself from the patterns that had been passed onto me but also recognising my relationship to those patterns, that my resonation with those patterns acted as the energetic glue trapping me in the same suffering as those who came before me. The willingness to take ownership within those patterns allowed me to carve out my own freedom by utilising the power of choice.
What has emerged in all of my offerings, is the power of choice. Conscious choice married to ruthless honesty. The courage to see things as they are is the first step to any healing. Without it, we make up stories to ourselves to excuse ourselves from responsibility. Responsibility to take ownership about what we are both creating and avoiding. Without honesty, we delude ourselves that we are doing healing work when we are often just self soothing with whatever spiritual narrative feels good. Only when we see things honestly, can we make a conscious choice about what we actually want and are prepared to do to heal.
My work is built on the cornerstones of both honesty and responsibility. Honesty to face our lives, relationships, and patterns raw, exactly as they are. No filter, no blame, no excuses.
I am not interested in further promoting the suffering attached to the duality of patriarchy versus matriarchy, and often the rage that is hidden behind it. Nor am I interested in further attaching blame to external structures that are in place either presently or historically (the church, the school, the government made me do it). I am only interested in helping the individual go beyond all of the above and evolve into the royal being that they are, the Human Being.
Ravens are known as the messengers of wisdom and we only reach true wisdom and redemption by reclaiming our ugly self, our shadow self, the lost pieces that we abandon. By reclaiming all the various ways we use and abuse power, and the darklings that are attached to it. By reclaiming all the ways we lie to ourselves, and worship our own self image above what is actually True and Holy. By reclaiming these aspects through the courage of the warrior’s heart, we are granted the wisdom of both Self and Reality.
My medicine is not an easy medicine. It is the medicine of the Raven and the Crow. My job is to retrieve messages from the underworld, from the dark, from the lost places of the psyche. I see what others do not want to see about themselves. I enter into the dark knowing that what is lost there must come home. This information is offered to the client as the ultimate act of service, to present to the person the exact material that they need to alchemise into gold. Alchemical healing happens when the underworld is brought into the light and restored as Heaven, finding its home again in the Human Heart.

Within us, lies the ability to heal all things, it is the definition of Human. And because I both recognize this and practice this myself, it is my job to honour what every individual is capable of doing, which is nothing short of becoming transformational, living gold.
